Sales Representative
Trident is looking for self-motivated Sales Representative. This position is responsible for maintaining and profitably growing sales to achieve sales goals for our products. In addition, the position will also be responsible for educating customers on our product line and resolving any issues.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Makes sales calls with sales representatives, contacting customers and making sales presentations.
- Develops and implements plans to expand business presence. Shares market and competitor information with all applicable channels within the organization; establishes relationships and working partnerships.
- Resolves issues for customers and products.
- Attends trade shows and promotes our product line.
Requirements:
- Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
- Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
- Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected.
- Requires overnight travel, at least, once a month.
C# Programmer
Trident is looking for at least one talented C# programmer working in the .NET framework to create and enhance new computer software applications that interface with evolving radio controller products. The successful applicant will develop new user interfaces to configure and monitor the controllers and/or create programs that store, digest and display the information transported over radio networks (voice, AVL information, text and data).
The applicant should have a demonstrated track record of successful programming, a solid working knowledge of Object Oriented concepts and a demonstrated track record of creating programs in C# utilizing this proficiency. Knowledge of radio or telephone communications is desired or, as a minimum, the ability to quickly learn the concepts involved. Experience with networks and Ethernet communications as well as servers and clients will be useful.
The candidate will need to be proficient in requirements gathering, software planning and design, well-documented code, unit and system testing, code deployment, and end-user documentation. The individual must further be able to work independently, under the guidance of others and as part of a team and will be expected to follow the company’s coding methodology in order to create software solutions for two-way radio communications products.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in .NET C# programming.
- Visual modeling experience including UML.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and UDP network communications.
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and as a team player.
- Good documentation throughout the entire life cycle of a project.
- Knowledge of hand-held and mobile radio operation and digital audio routing is a strong plus.
- BSCE, BSCS or equivalent.
- 5 years related Object Oriented experience in developing applications.
Embedded C Language Programmer
Trident is looking for a talented embedded C programmer to program Atmel, Motorola, PIC (Microchip) and other processors for new products that interface with its evolving radio controllers and associated products. The programmer will work relatively independently as a member of the New Products Group
The successful candidate should have experience in C-language programming for embedded applications. Requirements gathering, software planning, design and well-structured, commented code should be in evidence. An analytical nature, developed troubleshooting skills and experience with code targeting hardware applications are important for the position. Hands-on programming of microprocessors using in-circuit emulators is essential. Knowledge of electronic design and laboratory test equipment such as scopes and logic analyzers is important. Familiarity with radio or telephone communications will be helpful.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in embedded C-Language programming.
- Prior experience in programming for Atmel, Motorola and PIC processors.
- Good troubleshooting skills using various forms of diagnostic test equipment.
- Familiarity with Ethernet and various inter-device protocols.
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and as a team player.
- Knowledge of hand-held and mobile radio operation and digital audio routing is a strong plus.
- BSCE, BSCS or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant coding experience.
