NTS Data

Data Enabled Dual Channel Card
A Data-enabled Channel Card is a Dual Channel Card that is capable of operating in Trident Data mode and in Voice mode. 

Data Card
The Data Card is an NTS Application Card that is used to relay data from the NTS Network to a dispatcher via a web server or desktop application software.  The Data Card is a serial card that may be connected to a dial-up modem, a direct RS-232 link to a PC running a Trident TrAVL Bridge, or to an Ethernet LAN by using a Trident ES-2 Serial to Ethernet converter.  A minimum of one Data Card is required in an NTS Data Network.

Requirements
An NTS Data system has the following requirements:
•    Master Card II
•    Trident Data Feature enabled
•    Data-enabled Channel Card
•    NTS Data Card (at least one per NTS Network)
•    NTS 4.2 or later release
