SMR TRUNKING
Trident’s introduction into the market place with the RVL-5000 Remote Validator / Logger launched the company into the forefront of trunking technology. Over the past twelve years the company has provided more than 40 new products to the SMR industry. The TNT-100 Logic Controller has been Trident’s most successful product and is used on hundreds of systems throughout the United States, South America and Asia. Trident’s presence in the foreign market has grown tremendously in just a few short years and continues to spread into new markets as they develop.
MOBILE DATA SYSTEMS
Trident recognized this growing niche in the market and applied themselves to answering the need for mobile data messaging. They developed a series of mobile data devices and peripherals that are easy to install and use. The DL-40 Universal Data Terminal is the flagship of this series accompanied by the RP-20 Remote Programmer and the DM-30 Dispatch Monitor. Today, Trident is a leader in the production of mobile data equipment and continues to develop new products as the market demands.
CORPORATE INFORMATION
In 1997 Trident built a new facility in Arden, North Carolina where their corporate headquarters and manufacturing center are now located. The branch sales office in Minneapolis provides support to the eastern half of the U.S. as well as Central and South America. Trident Micro Systems is a privately held corporation.
